Why we created this—

You may be sitting there thinking… what’s the catch?

And we get it.

There are a lot of yoga teachers who hold tight to the curriculum they’ve created, and understandably so.

And to be honest, we started out doing that too. We had a teacher we trained who moved out of town and come to us and say, “I’m starting my own YTT… and I want to train my teachers in your style because you’re my teachers.”

Initially, we put together a plan to license our training materials. We considered franchising, revenue sharing, etc. 

But here’s the thing… we didn’t create yoga.

None of us did.  And yes, we have our own approach to teaching it that we’ve be super successful at doing for 10+ years. 

But our mission is to share this practice + support other yoga teachers in doing the same. And we know running YTTs is a huge part of building a career as a yoga teacher.

    Patrick Franco - Playfulness and Precision. Patrick’s classes are devoted to creating a light hearted atmosphere that encourages self-study through alignment focused yoga and traditional yogic philosophy.  Patrick’s teaching is drawn from the 5,000 year old tradition of yoga and rooted in ancient texts and practices but integrated and applied in a way that is relevant to the unique and modern world in which we live. Patrick Franco, E-RYT 500 is the Director of YogaRenew, the world’s largest online teacher training platform.  

    Patrick has been practicing and leading yoga classes for 20 years. After his initial 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, he completed an additional 330 hours of study at the the Iyengar Institute of New York. Outside of yoga, he is also a dad, and Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac) in New York State.

    Patrick completed his 200HR YTT at Laughing Lotus in NYC, his 300HR at YogaMaya NYC, and and additional 330 hours at the Iyengar Institute of New York.
